Your church profile contains the core information about your church that appears in visitor communications, confirmation messages, and reports. Keeping this information accurate ensures a professional and consistent experience for your visitors.
Accessing Church Profile
Only administrators can edit the church profile. Navigate to Settings > Church Profile to view and edit your information.
Profile Fields
Basic Information
- Church Name: The official name of your church. This appears in all automated emails and on the check-in confirmation screen.
- Tagline (optional): A brief description or motto that appears alongside your church name.
- Website: Your church's website URL. Linked in visitor emails.
- Phone Number: Main contact number for the church office.
Address
- Street Address: The physical location of your church.
- City, State, Zip: Mailing address information.
- Additional Directions: Helpful notes for first-time visitors (e.g., "Enter through the north parking lot," "Look for the welcome center in the lobby").
Service Times
List your regular service times so visitors know when to expect. Example:
- Sunday Worship: 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
- Wednesday Bible Study: 7:00 PM
Branding
- Logo: Upload your church logo (PNG or SVG format, max 2MB). The logo appears in email headers and on the check-in confirmation screen.
- Primary Color: Choose a brand color that matches your church's visual identity. This color is used for accents throughout the visitor experience.
Social Media Links
Add links to your church's social media profiles. These can be included in automated emails to help visitors connect with your community online:
- YouTube
- Twitter/X
Where Church Profile Information Appears
Your church profile data is used throughout VisiConnect:
- Welcome Emails: Church name, address, service times, and logo appear in automated welcome messages.
- SMS Messages: Church name is included in text message signatures.
- Check-in Confirmations: Church name and logo appear on the confirmation screen after check-in.
- Reports: Church name appears in exported attendance reports.
Tips for a Great Church Profile
- Use a high-resolution logo with a transparent background for the best appearance.
- Write clear, detailed directions for first-time visitors.
- Keep service times up to date, especially around holidays.
- Include multiple contact methods so visitors can reach you easily.
